Welcome To Northside

Welcome

We’re so glad you’re here. Whether you are new to church, new to the area, or looking for a church family, we would love the opportunity to welcome you to Northside Baptist Church.

At Northside, our mission is to make disciples who love God first, love the church passionately, and love others intentionally. That means we want you to encounter Christ, find genuine community, and discover how God can use your life for His purpose.

We know visiting a church for the first time can feel like a big step, so we want to make it as easy and comfortable as possible. Fill out the form below to let us know you’re coming, and someone from our team will be ready to help you know where to go, answer any questions, and welcome you when you arrive.

We can’t wait to meet you.

What to Expect

When you visit Northside, you can expect a warm welcome, genuine worship, meaningful Bible study, and expository preaching that is rooted in God’s Word.

At Northside, we believe church is more than a place to attend. It is a family where we grow together as disciples of Jesus. Our desire is to help every person know Christ, follow Christ, become more like Christ, and help others do the same.

Our mission shapes everything we do: we make disciples who love God first, love the church passionately, and love others intentionally. That means we gather to worship Christ, grow together as a church family, and serve others with the love of Jesus.

We are not a perfect church, but we are a church seeking to follow Jesus together with honesty, humility, and purpose. Whether you are visiting for the first time or looking for a church to call home, we want you to feel welcomed, encouraged, and pointed to Christ.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens on Sundays?

Sunday mornings at Northside are designed to help people of all ages grow as disciples of Jesus.

At 9:15 a.m., we begin with Sunday School. Infants through 5th grade meet in our Children’s Wing, while students in 6th–12th grade and adults meet in classes throughout the Family Life Center. Our student and adult classes are designed to help us dive deeper into the previous week’s sermon through Bible study, discussion, and practical application.

At 10:30 a.m., we gather together for our worship service. During this time, we seek the Lord through worship, prayer, and the expository preaching of God’s Word. Our desire is that every Sunday would help us become disciples of Jesus who love God first, love the church passionately, and love others intentionally.

What are your services like?
Our Sunday morning services are a time of dynamic praise and worship, heartfelt prayer, special music, and powerful messages from God’s Word. Our “blended” music style brings together contemporary worship songs and beloved hymns, creating a worship experience for all generations. Led by our talented worship team of singers and instrumentalists, our music is designed to honor God and encourage the church as we come together to worship.
What should I wear?
At Northside, we embrace a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere in our rural setting. Whether you’re dressed in jeans and a t-shirt or your “Sunday best,” you’ll fit right in. What truly matters to us isn’t what you’re wearing, but that you’re here. We’re just happy to have you with us!
What happens on Wednesdays?
Join us for Wednesday Night Dinners at 5:15 p.m. – Enjoy a delicious meal for just $6 per adult and $5 per child, with a family maximum of $25 (Make Reservations Here). Weekly menus are available in our Sunday bulletins. After dinner, at 6:30 p.m., we offer something for everyone—nursery care, children’s ministries, student worship, and adult small group classes. We’d love to see your family this week!
What is offered for my children?
Our Children’s Ministry Wing is the place for newborns through 5th graders to gather on Sundays and Wednesdays. When you arrive, simply stop at the kiosk in the hall to check-in your child. If you’re new, we’d be happy to give you a tour!

Important: We prioritize the safety of your children. All of our adult volunteers undergo thorough background checks, and we use a secure check-in process with a single entrance and exit point. Children are only released to adults that parents have authorized. Have more questions? Feel free to ask!

What is offered for my students (6th-12th grades)?
Our Student Ministry offers a vibrant, welcoming environment for middle and high school students to grow in their faith and connect with others. We meet every Sunday at 9:15 a.m. for Life Groups, where students engage in meaningful Bible study and discussions. On Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m., we gather for Student Worship, a powerful time of praise, prayer, and messages designed to inspire and challenge the next generation of believers.

Beyond our weekly gatherings, we host a variety of exciting events throughout the year, including annual trips, camps, and retreats that provide unforgettable opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, and fun. Whether it’s deepening their relationship with Christ or building lifelong friendships, there’s something for every student to look forward to.
