Our Ministries

Our ministries exist to help people of all ages become disciples of Jesus who love God first, love the church passionately, and love others intentionally.

At Northside, ministry is not just about programs — it is about people growing in Christ. From nursery care to adult discipleship, every ministry is designed to help individuals and families know Jesus, grow in God’s Word, build meaningful relationships, serve faithfully, and live on mission.

Nursery

Our Nursery Ministry provides a safe, loving, and caring environment for infants through two years old. While parents participate in worship and Sunday School, our nursery team comes alongside families by caring for their little ones with kindness, patience, and Christlike love.

Nursery care is available during our regular services and classes.

Kid’s Ministry

Northside Kids exists to help children know Jesus, love God’s Word, and begin growing as disciples of Christ. Through Bible teaching, worship, activities, and age-appropriate lessons, children are encouraged to learn the truth of Scripture and see how it applies to their lives.

Our desire is to partner with parents as they disciple their children to love God first, love the church, and love others.

Students

Northside Students exists to help middle and high school students become faithful disciples of Jesus. We want students to be grounded in God’s Word, connected to the church, and equipped to follow Christ in their everyday lives.

On Sunday mornings, students meet for Sunday School in the Family Life Center, where they study and discuss the previous week’s sermon so they can better understand and apply God’s Word. On Wednesdays, students gather for worship, Bible teaching, fellowship, and discipleship.

Our goal is to help students love God first, love the church passionately, and live on mission for Christ.

Young Adults

Our Young Adult Ministry helps young adults grow in faith, build meaningful Christian community, and live with purpose as followers of Jesus. This ministry provides opportunities for Bible study, fellowship, encouragement, and discipleship during a key season of life.

Whether in college, working, single, married, or beginning a family, we want young adults to be grounded in Christ, connected to the church, and equipped to live faithfully in the world.

Women’s Ministry

The Women’s Ministry at Northside exists to encourage women to grow as disciples of Jesus through God’s Word, prayer, fellowship, and service. Through Bible studies, gatherings, and ministry opportunities, women are encouraged to love God deeply, build Christ-centered relationships, and serve others with grace and compassion.

Our desire is to see women strengthened in their walk with Christ and equipped to faithfully follow Him in their homes, church, and community.

Men’s Ministry

The Men’s Ministry at Northside exists to disciple and equip men to follow Jesus faithfully in their homes, church, and community. We desire to see men grow in spiritual maturity, servant leadership, biblical responsibility, and gospel-centered relationships.

Through Bible study, mentoring, fellowship, and service, men are encouraged to stand firm in the faith, lead with humility, and help others follow Christ.

Adult Ministry

Our Adult Ministry helps men and women grow as disciples of Jesus through Sunday School, Bible study, fellowship, and service. On Sunday mornings, adults meet in the Family Life Center to study and discuss the previous week’s sermon, allowing God’s Word to be applied more deeply in everyday life.

We believe discipleship happens best in biblical community, where believers encourage one another, pray for one another, and grow together in Christ.

D-Groups

D-Groups are one of the ways we intentionally make disciples at Northside. These small groups of four to five people meet regularly to study Scripture, pray together, encourage one another, and grow in accountability.

The goal of D-Groups is not only to help believers grow personally, but to equip them to help others follow Jesus. As disciples are strengthened, they are sent out to replicate discipleship in the lives of others.
