1. God’s Love and Our Purpose
God created us out of love and for a relationship with Him. He designed us to live in harmony with Him and to reflect His love. The Bible says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
2. Our Sin and Separation
Unfortunately, sin—our disobedience and separation from God—breaks this relationship. Romans 3:23 reminds us, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Sin separates us from God, leading to spiritual death, which is eternal separation from Him (Romans 6:23).
3. Jesus Christ: God’s Gift of Salvation
Out of His love, God sent His Son, Jesus, to pay for our sins by dying on the cross. Jesus, who was sinless, took our place, offering us forgiveness and restoring us to God. “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
4. Our Response: Faith and Repentance
The Bible teaches that by repenting of our sins and placing our faith in Jesus, we receive forgiveness and eternal life. “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).
5. New Life in Christ
Through faith in Jesus, we receive new life. This life with God is filled with hope, peace, and purpose. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Would you like to place your faith in Jesus today? He offers forgiveness, a restored relationship with God, and eternal life to all who believe.
